“Brian is the best! I had several medium and small antique items shipped from my parents' place across the country. First, Derrick at the UPS store in Marietta, GA did a superb job of packing. Second, however, I must salute Brian who actually made the delivery, unpacked, and cleaned up. The items were so well-packed, because delicate, the crate was just too large to get through the building's main door (although ample). Brian was courteous about calling in advance as I requested, about figuring out a solution to the crate, about finding a few stray hidden items under the plastic and popcorn, about gingerly handling each of the objects once unpacked to carry them individually into my apartment (I helped with this because he was not assigned a partner, which surprised me given that he'd had to deliver furniture on a previous run), and about carefully cleaning up (plastic, popcorn, crate boards) afterwards. I was happy to pay for the "white glove" unpacking service but assumed that most of that fee would go to the delivery persons. Brian was very discreet about this but I have the impression delivery persons are paid the same hourly rate whether or not there is a "white glove" fee. If that's the case, it doesn't seem fair. I would urge the management to be sure to pay delivery persons well, especially such exceptional ones as Brian (including benefits if appropriate). This is back-breaking, delicate work, in difficult weather conditions and, good or bad service, can make or break a reputation. We need to reward our workers! “Absolutely terrible service. Worst customer service. They called me to schedule a delivery. Great. .. waited 1-5pm as they requested. I called the company 3x to ensure delivery was on time and on schedule. @ 6:30pm Lenny the driver advised that he would be @ my home within an hour. [Cool] OVER a hour and a half later I called Lenny to get an ETA. His response was…. "I've had alot of packages and we will reschedule for another day, I'm sorry". No call to confirm he couldn't come. He and the company MUST believe customers time does not matter. I had taken time off to receive this package. I am planning to pick up my package from their warehouse! They are big trash. I am afraid for any company that uses them in the future. Good luck.”
