We had a great experience and had a million dollar view of the slopes and mountains. We visited in October so many amenities were not available. The unit was clean and recently updated and our hosts were very responsive. A great choice for a couple during skiing season!
The resort was under major remodel, and I don’t remember anything being said about that when I booked the room. It was cheaper than the other resorts, so maybe that was figured in. I thought I was in the wrong place because of this. Anyways, the front service personnel was very nice and informative and apologetic about it. The room was very nice and clean, with supplies. No issues there. They had put in a portable AC unit and mounted a fan for the bedroom because of that being down due to the remodel. The parking was really great, as they had their own gated parking that was easy to get in and out, and that’s probably the greatest thing I liked. We were on the backside of the resort and had a good view from our second floor balcony. I would stay here again. We stayed here to go to Cass Scenic Railroad for my son’s birthday.
We stayed in Soaring Eagle 203. This is an exceptional condo. Lovely furnishings with everything you would need. A magnificent view from the highest point in West Virginia. Indoor parking. Working gas fireplace. 1ooo+ TV channels. High speed internet.
The front staff were all very friendly. The facility is dated but clean. The place is definitely on the warmer side, which I saw mentioned multiple times, so bring clothes for indoors to stay cool. Nice and close to walk out and hit the slopes! Also close to the Village to shop and eat. I would definitely stay here again.
Our family had a great stay at Treetop 29. The property is exactly as shown in the photos. Exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, & very well stocked with supplies. A quick 2 minute walk to the Wildcat Grocery Store & 5 minute walk to the village. Enjoyed the community basketball court, & fire pit in the evenings. While the property doesn’t have air conditioning, they do have two window units. One in the upstairs master bedroom & one in the living room. These two units did keep the house comfortable on the warmer days. We look forward to booking treetop 29 again in the near future!
