To be fair, I am down-grading my original 5 star review, but I am leaving my original content to be fair. However I am providing an update on a more recent interaction with Levco. Specifically, a year or two back I contacted them to also update our master bath. I was told at that time that they did not want to bid the project because I wanted to be too involved in the decisions that were being made. I could only assume that meant that I was trying to state my needs clearly and that ran contrary to the way Joe and his company like to work. What I let slide in my original update was that I had to pay a design fee and their designer basically did nothing. All she did was direct us to suppliers and have us pick out tiles, flooring, vanities, etc. In fact, she could not even find a recommendation on a vanity for our project, and it was not a complex vanity decision at all. Pretty standard selection that we eventually had to seek out and buy one from Home Depot. As noted in my original review, all other aspects and engagement we had with the workers and contractors was very positive. It was simply the designer issue as well as my subsequent interaction with Joe that suggests I changed my review. I do so because I think it’s important for people looking for them to do this work to consider how much input they will be allowed to have and what you might pay for that you might not get your best bang for your buck from, in this case the designer fee. If you want somebody to simply come in and do a remodel and you don’t want to have a lot of input, I think they will do a great job! Original review (for fairness) : Joe and the team were very helpful in getting our small remodel project done. Noah, who was on site daily, helped to keep us in the loop regarding what was going, and when. Between the planning, design, and construction work, we always knew what was going on. A truly professional company, we had a great “partnership”, and I would encourage you, if you are looking at any sort of remodel project, to consider Levco.
I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Levco. Joe was responsive and helpful to begin the process of designing our new addition. He helped connect me with a fantastic architect and we were off to the races. He was also present every step of the way. John was our project manager for the vast majority of the project. He was phenomenal as well as incredibly friendly. Not only did he hold the subcontractors accountable, but he took care of issues that arose almost as though he was taking care of his own home. He also did a great job of anticipating problems before they presented themselves and helped us identify and implement solutions quickly to keep the project on track. Phil, Cindy, and the rest of the team were fantastic as well. I would hire them again in a heart beat and have recommended them to several others considering a remodel in the area.
Joe, Cindy, Phillip and all the others at Levco really are amazing people to work with. The design process was key to transforming an older home into a modern marvel. Joe’s creativity, open minded approach and willingness to work with us was first rate. In the end, Levco made our home into a comfortable and modern family treasure. Thanks Levco!
Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with on creating the plans for our home addition. Joe came to our house to look at and listen to our ideas of adding an additional room that would serve as an office space, as well as an egress window added to the basement. We had a drawing session where Joe took our ideas and turned it into a 3D, detailed blueprint that we were able to visualize and make changes to in real time. Phil and Amanda contributed a lot to the project and were so easygoing! We met several times to nail down each detail of the project. We got to the very final stages of planning the project when we ended up purchasing another home and moving. I have no doubt this team would have continued to be reliable, honest and easy to work with the remainder of the project. I absolutely recommend this company!
The experience we had with Levco after our detached garage burned down was absolutely amazing. We had a certain idea in mind when building the new garage and had reached out to other builders who said they were unable to make this work. Levco dedicated their entire team to the project and were able to work with us and our insurance in order to make it happen. One of our biggest worries was that our dogs use the back yard all day and they were able to communicate with us, so that the space was available for them when possible. It was so nice to have such great experience after the disaster. Their family oriented business made us feel like family as well! This project went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. If you want to take a seemingly stressful experience and turn it positive, Levco is where it’s at! Another thing to note is that they reach out to the community and are a mission driven company which is really important to us when “voting with our dollar”! Thank you Joe, Brant and everyone who had a part in this project, we couldn’t be happier!
