“I recently worked with Kingswood Engineers on a unique carport project that required some creative problem‑solving to satisfy the city’s permit requirements. I designed the carport with my client, but we needed an engineered solution to properly attach it to a brick veneer wall — which, as anyone in the industry knows, isn’t structural and comes with its own challenges. “If I could give them ten stars, I would. The entire team is competent and professional. I hired Kingswood to do the engineering calculations and drawings to remove part of a load bearing wall. It ended up being much larger project as time went on. I managed the project on my own without a GC, so I also hired them to submit the permits for me. Man, am I glad I did that. I had a lot of questions for them as construction went on and they were happy to oblige. They also had to write me an engineering letter for some on-site adjustments we had to make and they were gracious enough not to charge extra. It is clear to me that this company is honest, competent and trustworthy. I am hoping to hire them for deck plans. If you want to do things right and make sure your project follows the law and is therefore insurable, look no further.”
